Thank you for choosing Lucien Journeys. Our goal is to provide exceptional travel experiences designed around connection, culture, celebration, and adventure. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully before booking.

Emergency Travel Assistance

For travelers currently on a Lucien Journey, emergency travel support is available 24 hours a day.

Emergency support is intended for urgent travel-related matters requiring immediate assistance.

Our Role

Lucien Journeys acts as an independent travel advisor and booking agent for hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation companies, and other travel suppliers.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, injuries, losses, or service failures of any third-party travel provider.

Pricing & Availability

Travel pricing and availability are subject to change until a deposit or payment has been received and confirmed.

Additional costs resulting from:

  • Government taxes
  • Resort fees
  • Fuel surcharges
  • Currency fluctuations
  • Supplier increases

may be the responsibility of the traveler if imposed after booking.

Deposits & Final Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.

Deposit amounts and payment schedules vary by journey and will be provided at the time of booking.

Final payment is typically due 90 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated.

Failure to make payments by the specified due date may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of payments made.

Cancellation Policy

Because Lucien Journeys contracts accommodations, transportation, activities, and experiences in advance, all payments are generally non-refundable.

Cancellation penalties may range from partial loss to 100% of the total trip cost depending on supplier terms and timing.

For this reason, travel protection is strongly recommended.

Travel Protection

We strongly encourage all travelers to purchase travel protection coverage.

Travel protection may help protect your investment in the event of:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical emergencies
  • Travel delays
  • Lost baggage
  • Unexpected interruptions

All claims must be filed directly with the travel protection provider.

Changes to Reservations

Changes requested after confirmation may be subject to supplier penalties and administrative service fees.

All change requests must be submitted in writing.

Travel Documents

Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required travel documentation, including:

  • Passports
  • Visas
  • Entry permits
  • Vaccination records
  • Other destination requirements

Failure to obtain proper documentation may result in denied boarding, denied entry, or trip cancellation without refund.

Health & Entry Requirements

Travelers are responsible for complying with all destination-specific health, vaccination, testing, and entry requirements.

Requirements may change without notice and vary by destination.

Journey Modifications

Lucien Journeys reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to hotels, activities, transportation, itineraries, or special events when necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Weather conditions
  • Supplier changes
  • Operational issues
  • Government restrictions
  • Safety concerns

Comparable alternatives of equal or greater value will be provided whenever possible.

Traveler Conduct

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all participants, travelers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly throughout the journey.

Lucien Journeys and its suppliers reserve the right to remove or deny participation to travelers whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, illegal, or negatively impacts the experience of others.

No refunds will be provided in such situations.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By submitting payment, travelers acknowledge acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for services that have been provided or agreed upon may result in collection efforts and legal action to recover associated costs and damages.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Personal information is used solely for travel planning, reservations, and communication related to your journey.

Private Group Planning Consultation

For custom group travel, family reunions, milestone celebrations, retreats, and private group experiences, a planning consultation fee may apply.

Planning fees are designed to compensate for research, itinerary development, supplier coordination, and customized travel planning services.

Applicable fees will be disclosed before services begin and may be applied toward your final booking when eligible.

Agreement

By making a reservation, submitting payment, or participating in a Lucien Journey experience, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
